The first time any girls applied to go on Wider Ops from Kuwait was for 1999. We had 9 girls apply that year and all were selected. Unfortunately, 2 of the girls had to decline. We did have 7 girls attend their Wider Ops.
For 2000, we had one applicant (she was also chosen and attended) and for 2001 we had 5 applicants, once again all were accepted, but only 4 managed to attend.
All 4 of our applicants this year were selected, but 2 had to decline due to schedule conflicts.
